Last week Mr. F and I decided to take a teeny tiny road trip up the east coast to a town called Hermanus. It is about a 2 - 3 hour drive from where we stay along a beautiful coastline with gorgeous ocean views. We spent the day walking around and taking photos. We enjoyed lunch at a spot called Bientang's Cave, a seafood restaurant nestled into the rocks of a century old cave. And then took a slow leisurely drive home. Here are a few of the pics we took on the day...
A view of the old harbour and harbour museum.
How gorgeous is this view from our lunch table?! And without any zoom on the camera.
Feathered visitors to Bientang's Cave.
After lunch we took a stroll through the rock pools at the foot of the restaurant and came across this mini waterfall. Amazing how water always makes it's way back to the sea.
The road back home...fantastical!
