OUTING: Riebeek Kasteel

Over the weekend my mother planned a quick one night getaway to Riebeek Kasteel to celebrate my grandmothers birthday. A mere 100km from my house, Riebeek is a small quaint town full of cute coffee shops and vintage stores. We arrived on the Sunday and literally spent the day eating and browsing the little shops. Here are some of my snaps...

A cute array of shops...above Monroe's Art Cafe and a quirky homeware shop. Below the entrance to a clothing store.

We enjoyed a delicious indulgent lunch at Café Felix. Look at that yummy menu...

A gorgeous fern display in the cafe's courtyard...

In the evening we strolled with camera in hand from our guest house to the restaurant for dinner. After which we sat outside on the stoop watching the stars and drinking tea.

Hearts on a fence and an uber cute baby pink garage framed by hot pink bougainvillea...

The Riebeek Kasteel church touched by the pink sunset...

The next morning we feasted on a champers and OJ breakfast. And then took a slow drive home. It was a great one night getaway with my family. If ever you get the chance Riebeek is a great little place to visit and literally getaway.
