DIY: Ribbon Wrapped Bangle

I used to have a thing for wooden bangles and over the years I've collected a whole stash. But now I've kinda grown out of love with them, so I have been thinking of a way to update them. And then I got the idea for this super easy DIY hack...ribbon wrapped bangles.

You will need:

- wooden bangle
- satin ribbon (length depends on the size and width of your bangle - so the longer the better)
- fabric glue
- scissors

Step 1: Place a little dab of glue on the inside of the bangle at any point.

Step 2: Thread ribbon through the bangle making sure to leave about 50mm sticking out on the one side. Now press the ribbon down on to the "glue dot". Allow to dry for a few seconds.

Step 3: Wrap the longer piece of ribbon around the entire bangle until you reach the other end.

Step 4: Tie the two ends together in a bow.

Step 5: Trim off any excess or frayed edges.

And there you have it. A simply beautiful updated bangle. And the best part...when you are tired of one ribbon you can easily swap it for a new one.

Happy wrapping!
